• Any Graduate.
• At least (5) years previous supervisory or management experience in related industry required and at least (3) years for experience in the brewery industry.
• Minimum (3) years quality or production experience, preferably in FMCG or Food industry, with some time at management level.
• Must have previous supervisory or management experience in Brewery industry preferred.
People Management
• Training of QA and operational teams in line with departmental and individual plans (competencies and skills)/ Select, develop Quality Assurance personnel.
Process Management
• Quality Control testing and release for all required chemical, microbiological and sensory analysis for starting materials, in process and finished products.
• Monitoring and analysis all quality control parameter for consistency of the Quality process control
• Take immediately action if found Quality control result out of specification or problem from the whole process of the beer production.
• Prepare monthly meetings for follow up QA activities.
• Monitoring all QA equipment for still accuracy for measure quality control parameter.
• Communication with supplier for clear quality problem topic from all material (raw material, packaging material and chemical)
• Suggest and comment of the improvement whole process for up level of the quality control comply with the QMS and food safety standard.
• Ensure investigation and root-cause analysis are conducted and completed for all operational quality failures.
• Own Customer & Consumer complaint management process.
• Advise and support the site operational team on all QA issues within their areas of responsibility (including. Quality investigations, risk assessments).
• Monitor, track and ensure legal compliance to the Country legislation.
• Ensure finish products meet all standards and specifications.
• Stop work in any particular area due to quality issues- risk for food safety (Stop work authority).
• Provide detailed QA input into QA department Long Term Development Plan (LDP) process.
• Primary contact for all external audits and assessments conducted at site(s) including ISO (QMS, Food Safety system) and other country required compliance assessments.
• Ensure, accuracy and efficiency of Brew & Beer process, Packaging line, Water & Waste-Water Treatment all Quality Control testing and record keeping.
• Ensure departmental compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Performance Management
• Delivering effective performance from all site quality and food safety systems and procedures.
• Driving improvements in productivity and efficiency of all quality assurance and control activities.
• Responsible for managing Quality KPls (Objective Target) at their respective site in line with target.
• Ensure Quality KPls are implicitly understood and managed efficiently at an appropriate level.
• Accountable for monitoring and investigating (as needed) quality related consumer/customer complaints.
• Initiates local Quality performance reviews, identify trends, initiates and participates in problem solving activities.
• Managing Quality department financial budget.
• Supporting and advising operational teams in Quality improvement.
Manage the Food Safety Team and ensure that processes needed for the FSMS are established, implemented, and maintained.
• Oversee the internal food safety audit program - select internal audit personnel, review results of food safety audits, ensure that corrective actions are understood, and supervise corrective actions.
• Collect, analyze, and publish measurement data, to determine the root cause of process and product food safety problems and recommend action to resolve those problems.
• Initiate and supervise product recalls, to ensure adequate implementation and effectiveness.
• Follow ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System & 22000:2018 Food Safety System and comply with all the requirements.
