• Master's degree in education administration or Ph.D. (preferred).
• Age above (40) years old.
• Above (5) years of experience in educational administration, preferably in a college (or) higher education setting.
• Strong understanding of Myanmar’s educational policies and cultural context.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Fostering a healthy learning environment for our students.
• To oversee the daily operation of the school and supervise the education staffs and to have comprehensive understanding of National Education System of Myanmar Curriculum.
• To have comprehensive understanding of complexity of teaching and learning, to be qualified to work under pressure with the ability to make quick decisions while presenting excellent communication and organizational abilities as a principal.
• Set learning goals for students and teachers based on curriculum
• Manage Academic program, faculty, and staff to ensure high quality education is provided.
• Develop and implement strategies for the growth and development of the college.
• Ensure that the college adheres to government regulations, accreditation standards, and educational policies.
• Integrating and aligning the curriculum and implementing the curriculum efficiently
• Research new resources and techniques to improve teaching
• Develop and maintain effective educational programs within the college and to promote the improvement of teaching and learning with the college.
• Assist the teaching staff in the development, implementation, modifications, and selection of curriculum materials, and keep the management informed as to any modifications in or substitution of approved courses.
• Keep informed of current practices and techniques relating to school programs, teaching and administration by attending meetings and professional development conferences, and reading professional materials
Organize college events and assemblies
• Develop and support a high degree of student morale through curricular and extracurricular activities and services and co-ordinate the participation of all members of the teaching staff in the extracurricular program
Leadership and Strategic Planning
• Develop and implement the college's vision and mission in alignment with Myanmar’s national education policies.
• Lead the college in academic planning, curriculum development, and program implementation.
• Foster a collaborative environment and support innovation in teaching and learning.
Academic Oversight
• Ensure high academic standards by overseeing curriculum, pedagogy, and student assessment.
• Support faculty in professional development and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
• Implement and uphold quality assurance and accreditation standards as required by regulatory bodies.
Operational and Financial Management
• Manage the college’s budget, resources, and infrastructure effectively to support academic goals.
• Oversee facility maintenance, safety, and campus security to create a conducive learning environment.
• Work with the college board to manage finances responsibly and pursue funding opportunities.
Student Affairs
• Promote student engagement, support, and discipline policies that align with educational goals.
• Oversee student admissions, welfare, and support services, ensuring all students receive an inclusive and supportive educational experience.
• Implement extracurricular programs to enrich student life and development.
Community and Stakeholder Engagement
• Represent the college in the local community, collaborating with government bodies, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
• Foster relationships with parents, alumni, and community members to build a supportive and involved network.
• Promote the college as an institution of educational excellence within Myanmar.
Compliance and Reporting
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national education regulations and report to government agencies as required.
• Prepare and submit reports, evaluations, and documentation to maintain college accountability and transparency.
