• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Proficiency in English and Burmese; knowledge of Japanese or Chinese is a plus.
• Minimum (eight) or (10) years of experience in trading, FMCG, retail, or related industries. • Strong leadership and strategic management skills.
• Experience in import/export, logistics, and distribution management
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of the Myanmar market and regulatory environment.
Business Operations & Strategy
• Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including trading, distribution, retail mart, and logistics.
• Ensure smooth import and export processes, working with suppliers and government agencies.
• Monitor market trends and adjust business strategies accordingly.
• Drive expansion plans, including new product lines, retail stores, and partnerships.
Sales & Marketing Management
• Set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them
• Work with the sales team to strengthen distribution channels and grow market share.
• Oversee marketing initiatives, including digital marketing, promotions, and branding efforts.
• Ensure effective execution of sales campaigns and trade marketing activities.
Financial & Budget Management
• Manage budgets, financial reports, and cost control measures.
• Ensure profitability of different business units, identifying areas for cost reduction.
• Work with the finance team to maintain cash flow, pricing strategies, and financial stability.
Supply Chain & Logistics
• Oversee importation processes, supplier negotiations, and inventory management.
• Ensure smooth logistics operations, including cold chain management.
• Work with suppliers in Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and China to maintain strong relationships.
Team Leadership & Organizational Development
• Lead and mentor department heads, fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Improve operational efficiency through process optimization and automation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, government regulations, and industry standards.
• Develop training programs to enhance staff skills and productivity.
Stakeholder & Partner Management
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and key business partners.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and external stakeholders.
• Represent the company in industry meetings, trade shows, and networking events.
