• Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B), Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least (1) and (2) years of experience in corporate administration, secretarial work, or a related position, specifically within a bank, microfinance institution, insurance firm, or financial services company in Myanmar.
• Deep knowledge of the Myanmar Companies Law 2017, MyCO portal mechanics, and local financial regulations.
• Experience in management reporting, Project management, business analysis is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and reporting capabilities and have ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong coordination, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the personal integrity required to handle sensitive corporate data.
• Professional certification of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators or similar body is highly desirable. REQUIRED LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY
• Complete professional fluency in both written and spoken English and Burmese. The ability to accurately translate complex legal and financial concepts between both languages is essential.
Board Support & Corporate Governance
• Organize and coordinate executive meetings, Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and committee meetings.
• Prepare and distribute detailed agendas and meeting materials well in advance.
• Attend meetings to record accurate, legally compliant minutes, tracking key decisions and corporate resolutions.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards and presentations for HOM and Senior Management.
• Monitor business performance, business analysis and special assignments from Management.
• Advise the HOM on their duties, corporate governance best practices, and changes in local regulatory requirements.
• Support cross-functional initiatives and organization-wide projects.
Regulatory Compliance & DICA Management
• Manage all statutory filings and corporate updates through the DICA electronic registry system (MYCO), ensuring zero penalties for late submissions.
• Maintain and update all statutory registers, including the register of directors, secretaries, members, and share transfers.
• Monitor compliance with financial sector regulations, working closely with internal legal and compliance teams to implement directives from the Central Bank of Myanmar or the Securities and Exchange Commission of Myanmar (SECM).
Shareholder & Stakeholder Relations
• Act as the main point of contact for institutional shareholders, institutional investors, and regulatory auditors.
• Handle confidential and price-sensitive information with strict discretion.
Documentation & Legal Administration
• Safeguard the company's official seal, original incorporation documents, certificates, and historic corporate records.
• Draft official corporate resolutions, powers of attorney, and formal correspondence with government ministries.
