• A graduate of any Bachelor’s/College Degree, Engineering or Equivalent. Have Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH)/Construction Safety and Health (COSH) training.
• Preferable Licensed Engineer, OHS Practitioner, Pollution Control Officer, Fire Safety Practitioner, Radiation Safety/Protection Officer, Red Cross/Crescent First Aid and Basic Life Support (FA-BLS) Training and experienced
• Adequate communication skills in English and Myanmar.
• Must have (2) years of which in a supervisory capacity and gained from a Food & Beverages Manufacturing/Production operation or equipment.
• Minimum with (1) year experience as Environment, Health & Safety Officer with training in Basic Occupational Safety Health and Safety (BOSH)/ Construction Safety and Health (COSH).
• Preferred above (5) year of experience on Health & Safety, Environment.
• To assist the Plant Manager in coordinating and implementing comprehensive plans, programs, policies and procedures relative to environmental protection, occupational health, and safety at all levels of plant operations
• Provide consultative expertise on environmental protection, occupational health, and safety; and exercises supervision on HSE concerns of plant.
• Act as the plant manager’s principal assistant and consultant in the application of programs to removes the hazards from the workplace and to correct unsafe work practices.
• Serve as Secretary to the Plant HSE Committee/Working Team.
• Conduct investigation of accidents as member of the Plant HSE Committee/Working Team and submit his/her report to the Plant Manager for review prior to release to Corporate EHSSD.
• Conduct/organize HSE seminar, training, orientation, and refresher courses in coordination with the Manufacturing Technical Training Department and Human Resources Department.
• Help in the maintenance of an efficient accident record system. Recommends and coordination actions taken by area supervisors to eliminate causes.
• Provide assistance to government agencies in the conduct of HSE inspection, accident investigation or other related programs. Serve as representative of the company to the government agencies for the requirement and updates pertaining to HSE.
